A QR code (“Quick Response”) is a two-dimensional barcode you scan with a smartphone camera to open a link, a menu, a WiFi page and more. Simple, free to generate and universal.
How does it work?
The QR code encodes information (usually a URL). The camera reads it and offers to open the content — no dedicated app is needed on recent smartphones.
The most common uses

Static or dynamic QR?
A static QR points to a fixed address. A dynamic QR points to an editable link: handy for changing a menu or destination without reprinting the code.
